Healing House

I'm really not sure how to best review Bridget and the huge amount of help she has given me, this isn't as if it is a TV where I can say “the picture is very sharp” or “the sound is good”. My attempt at my story and an explanation of how much help she has given me. What I can say is that I found Bridget though a moment of good luck whilst in a world of mental pain. I literally found her through a list hypnotherapists and called her in a moment of desperation. Having discussed my issues and what I wanted, and thought I needed, with her, I very quickly gained a trust in her. By the end of my first session with her, I knew I'd found someone who could help me. My level of trust continues to grow with each time I work with her, and it is very much working with her, to the point I've tried various techniques that whilst I would normally write them off as “mumbojumbo” I'm willing to try it because she has recommended it. As a card-carrying sceptic and person of a very scientific background, I'm amazed that they worked. Scientifically I can't explain how or why they worked, but work they did. Over the period of working together with her she has constantly tailored the way of working to what it is I need and how it is my head works. Her ability to recall the tiniest details of what I've mentioned previously and integrate them into the sessions is something which continues to surprise and, in my eyes, shows a huge level of professionalism in how she works. Looking back on it now, phoning a total stranger based on the phone number on a list of hypnotherapists was a strange thing to do; but I was in a fairly strange place. Also looking back on it now, I'm so very grateful that I found her. She has helped me go from the point of being in a very dark, painful, place to the point where I'm very optimistic and hopeful about my future. I am deeply indebted to Bridget for what she has helped me achieve. Is that a review... I don't know. If you are the type of person who wants a sound-bite style review then it would be: Bridget has helped me turn my life around and achieve more than I ever thought possible. She has been a very caring and helpful person, to whom I'm deeply indebted. Hopefully you'll call her based on the whole review, not just the sound-bite. Bridget... in the event you ever read this, I hope you'll take it as a starter to just how deeply thankful I am for what you've helped me achieve. I owe who I am today to what you've done for me. Thank you.

I starting seeing Bridget in Feb 2008 after seeing several other therapists and counsellors. She had been recommended to me, and her approach was different. I found the sessions very useful and she really helped me.
